Rory specialises in health and safety/regulatory law; fatal accident/public inquiries and liability insurance. His recent experience includes appearing for a public sector organization at a lengthy and complex FAI; representing insurers in a number of multi million pound claims following catastrophic injuries and fatalities; and representing the defenders in a multi million pound property damage claim in the Court of Session. Rory is also the head of the Firm's Health and Safety/Regulatory Law team which advises and represents clients on a range of health and safety matters, regulatory issues and public inquiries and provides training and awareness raising exercises. Rory is NEBOSH qualified and is a dual qualified solicitor enrolled in Scotland and England and Wales. With his practical hands on approach he acts for many construction industry clients, public sector organizations (including Lothian and Borders Police) and insurers.
