Mark has been a Partner with the firm since 1996 and heads up our Construction and Engineering Unit, ranked by The Legal 500 for its appointment by Health Facilities Scotland to advise on a £900m four-year programme to build and refurbish a range of facilities for Scottish NHS Boards.
Mark advises on all aspects of construction law, notably project-specific procurement matters in both the UK and Europe and his clients include some of the largest housing associations, health sector organisations, property development companies and house builders in Scotland. He is experienced in advising on both standard form and bespoke forms of construction and engineering contracts.
An active participant in related professional bodies, Mark is a member of the Society of Construction Law, acts as a dissertation supervisor for the University of Strathclyde LLM in Construction Law and has been involved in the Scottish Parliament Cross Party Group for Construction which examines issues relating to the construction industry in Scotland.
